As of August 1st, we officially acquired the assets of Spectrum Designs Medical, an established provider of facial and body-contouring implants. This lets us do several things, like meet the rising demand for textured gluteal and pectoral implants made of extra-soft silicone and provide more shapes and sizes.
This is the latest of several acquisitions over the years that have strengthened our position as a single, convenient source for high-quality aesthetic solutions. For example, in 2002, we brought Allied Biomedical into the fold to offer body-contouring implants (gluteal, pectoral and calf), Cimeosil® silicone gel and gel sheeting for scar management and AlliedSil™ tubing and sheeting for a wide variety of surgical applications. In 2006, we gained Gelzone, Inc., enabling us to provide wraps that combine compression healing, scar management and musculoskeletal support.
And now we have additional body-contouring implants that are both super-soft and textured. These new ContourFlex™ gluteals are available in both round and anatomical shapes, while the addition of four PowerFlex™ Novack and Aiache pectoral styles offer greater versatility for your patients’ physiques. The newly added ContourFlex™ Aiache and Carlsen style calf implants are available in either smooth or textured.
We’re also delighted to have the opportunity to serve Spectrum’s facial implant clientele. We manufacture a corresponding, high-quality alternative to every Spectrum style (contact us for a cross-reference sheet), plus we’ll start off each new customer with bonus Implantech Rewards points.
Opportunity knocked—and we answered with more innovative options for aesthetic surgeons. Check out our expanded product line, and don’t hesitate to ask us for more information!
