Notably complex, ears are flexible yet rigid, concave and convex, a pair of mirror opposites. So when warranted by deformity, trauma, surgery, or other medical condition, they can be challenging to reconstruct. That’s why we developed our Composite™ Auricular Implants. Coated with biocompatible ePTFE, silicone provides a firm yet supple implant that’s been carefully designed to mimic the natural ear’s features and feel. The microporous ePTFE coating enables tissue in-growth for both stabilization and adapting overlying skin to the implant’s contours. Choose from varying sizes of a left or right framework, the Y-shaped anti-helix overlay and a wedge that gives the ear projection.
