Tear troughs

Generally caused by an accumulation of fat under the lower eyelids, deformed tear troughs give the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. According to San Diego’s Gilbert Lee, MD, FACS, a “Tear Trough Implant [from Implantech] inserted under the eyes will augment the cheek bone (infraorbital rim) and eliminate the shadowing. This is the most lasting and predictable treatment for tear trough deformity.”

Pre-jowl sulcus
